🌸 Vision of Thousand Petals
Thousand Petals envisions a nurturing yoga and wellness space dedicated to empowering women to build inner strength, reconnect with their inner self, awaken their Shakti, and find deep contentment through conscious self-care practices. Thousand petals support women in navigating the major transitions of life — puberty, motherhood, perimenopause, menopause, and the empty-nest phase — with awareness, resilience, and grace.
Our vision is rooted in a holistic blend of traditional yogic wisdom and modern mental-health support, offered within a safe, inclusive, and compassionate environment. Alongside women-focused programs, we extend our support to children and families, seniors, to enhance the family ecosystem. Through daily yoga classes, kids yoga camps, family-centered practices, and emotional wellness workshops, we create pathways for balance, self-healing, connection, and self-discovery.
At the heart of Thousand Petals is the intention to help rediscover the life essence in oneself ancient Indian spiritual wisdom. We draw inspiration from sacred texts such as the Lalita Sahasranama, a powerful hymn honouring the Divine Feminine which embodies strength, compassion, clarity, independence and creative intelligence. The vibrational potency of Lalita Sahasranama serves as a tool for inner transformation and the remembrance of a woman’s inherent power.
The name "Thousand Petals" symbolizes the blossoming of true awareness, much like the thousand-petalled lotus i.e. "Sahasrara Chakra" a state where body, mind, and spirit align. An individual fully steps into her wisdom, wholeness, and inner radiance.

What Our Learners Say
Real stories from our community about their journey towards wellness and strength.
"I highly recommend Poornima as a yoga, nutrition, and fitness coach. She is one of the people who introduced me to meditation and helped me understand the importance of proper nutrition. Earlier, I used to believe that eating anything like rice would automatically give me the nutrition I needed. She taught me how to be mindful about what my body actually requires and how to track it. I had been struggling with anemia for a long time, and yesterday my test results finally showed that my hemoglobin level has crossed the normal range. I truly believe her guidance on diet, lifestyle, and mindfulness played a big role in this change. She is a great teacher for anyone who wants to build a healthy and balanced lifestyle."
Susheela
"After suffering severe back pain and undergoing physiotherapy last summer, I began yoga classes with Poornima. Her attentive, individually focused techniques have made a huge difference — I’m more comfortable, and recently I was even able to sit on the floor for nearly two hours and shovelled the 10 cm snow with no hassle. Poornima’s personalized approach is unique; I gladly recommend her to all my friends."
Shwetha Bhat
"I didn’t realize there were so many yoga variations possible without any equipment. With my SI joint and groin challenges, I had assumed yoga or certain body movements weren’t suitable for me. Through this personalized sessions, I’ve discovered safe and effective options that work for my body. I now feel confident that I can stay active while gradually improving my mobility."
Deepesh Ramegowda
"Thank you for helping me Poornima. It’s been more than 10 years that I stopped practicing yoga. You are an inspiration to start again!"
